Senior Manager of Financial Reporting

Solidigm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Financial Reporting. The role will be responsible for the company's overall compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Reporting Standards (IFRS). This currently includes involvement with the submission of a consolidated reporting packages under IFRS to our parent company, compilation of our three legal entity financial statement for various reporting needs, as well as building out reports and process for our stand-alone US GAAP financials.  This position is able to make a significant impact to help evolve our financial reporting processes.  As part of these processes, this position will also be responsible for SOX related controls related to financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SEC regulations, FASB pronouncements and has previously worked in a public company.

Responsibilities
 

  • Prepare financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS including footnote support and drafting new footnote disclosures.
  • Prepare detailed US GAAP cash flow and supporting schedules.
  • Perform analytical reviews of financial information and validations to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements.
  • Work with IT to enhance our processes and build reports to help produce various levels of financial reporting.
  • Implement new accounting policies and procedures to respond to changes in internal policies, SEC, GAAP, IFRS and SOX 404 requirements.
  • Coordinate and complete government related surveys.
  • Collaborate with the regional controllership team, consolidations team and technical accounting to develop and maintain financial accounting policies and standards.
  • Provide a high level of customer service within finance and to non-finance business partners.
  • Continuously strive to enhance and streamline reporting processes.
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA
  • 7+ years of Big 4 Public accounting experience
  • 7+ years of public and private industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
  • Prior experience in active drafting and preparing of financial statements.
  • Experience with international subsidiaries and foreign currency transactions
  • Knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana)
  • Strong at execution, follow-up and attention to detail

  • Able to keep deadlines at a fast pace without losing accuracy
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $128,630 to $203,160. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
