What you will do: 
The Senior Manager of Events will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of a wide range of onsite and virtual events to support eXp Realty's Marketing Department. This role demands strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset, along with the ability to manage both large-scale events and smaller, targeted engagements. The Senior Manager will drive the event strategy and execution, ensuring that all events align with company objectives, enhance executive presence, and contribute to business growth.
The Senior Manager will lead cross-functional collaboration, manage budgets, timelines, and event logistics while leading a team to deliver high-impact experiences. This position requires expert-level organizational skills, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of industry trends.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile events, including conferences, conventions, and virtual gatherings.
  • Own the overall strategy and execution of a large segment of the EXPCON Conventions, delivering top-tier experiences for attendees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, leadership) to align event goals with broader company objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure effective resource allocation and adherence to deadlines.
  • Lead vendor negotiations and supplier management to secure services and rates that meet or exceed quality expectations.
  • Drive event marketing and communication strategies to maximize attendance, engagement, and overall event impact.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety standards at events, taking accountability for attendee welfare.
  • Measure and analyze event performance by gathering data and feedback, using insights to inform continuous improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to drive creativity and improvement in the execution of future events.
  • Mentor and develop a team of event coordinators or specialists, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned, in line with business priorities and team collaboration.
How you will grab our attention: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in event management, marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing events, with a proven track record of leading large-scale events in the real estate sector or a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and independently manage complex, high-impact events from concept to completion.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in collaborating with senior leadership and external partners.
  • Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing changing priorities with agility.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and other productivity tools.
  • Expertise in event management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel for events as required.
