Intro
As part of NEOWIZ Santa Monica, this role will be broadly responsible for external communication and defense of NEOWIZ brand values through owned, earned and paid channels. This will include community/social media direction of various PC/Console and mobile portfolios including Lies of P, Brown Dust 2, and other live/upcoming games.
What you'll do
- The role will ensure the brand voice is professional yet passionate, from a gamer perspective, to foster a strong NEOWIZ fan base among all stakeholders.
- As the Content Marketing & Community Lead, the role will be responsible for developing and executing messaging strategies tailored to the US market. This multifaceted role includes managing the gaming community, producing engaging viral videos, and engineering a contemporary face for the company across streaming platforms.
Responsibilities

- Act as the voice of development and production teams to the players
- Represent the voice of players to the game development and production teams by providing comprehensive reports on community feedback, sentiment, issues, etc.
- Drive community growth and foster strong fandom for NEOWIZ games
- Team up with the key internal stakeholders and lead community engagement strategy and execution on key community touch points.
- Work with the game teams to create content for community/social channels
- Monitor forums, community channels, social media platforms to share community sentiment reports to game teams
- Inform our game fans about upcoming updates, events, changes to games
- Build and nurture a vibrant gaming community across various key platforms.
- Collaborate with the HQ social team to develop an optimal process of community engagements such as moderation, announcements, promotions, CS inquiries, and addressing concerns to foster a positive and supportive community atmosphere.
- Organize and execute community events, contests, and initiatives to enhance user engagement.

- Conceptualize, script, and produce high-quality YouTube videos that showcase Neowiz's games, updates, and related content.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including game developers and artists, to gather insights and assets for multi-media content production.
- Stay updated on industry trends, gaming culture, and community preferences to create content that resonates with the target audience.
- [Public Relations Reinforcement]
- Collaborate with PR agencies for coverage in NA.
- Identify and initiate generating stories around key NEOWIZ business and product developments, and promote them with media outlets, directly and through broad distribution.
- [Streaming/Influencer Business Development]
- Act as the curator of Neowiz social channels, managing the content calendar and uploading regular videos to maintain an active presence on the platform.
- Optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for SEO to optimize visibility and reach
- Analyze video performance metrics and audience feedback to refine content strategy and improve user engagement.
- Collaborate with content creators and gaming communities to expand Neowiz's reach and build partnerships.
- Work closely with marketing and PR teams to align content strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in video game community and social media management.
- Must be a passionate gamer who is highly conscientious.
- Deep understanding of brand communications, social, and gaming ecosystem
- Analytical skills to track community and social media metrics.
- Experience in community moderation in gamer community platforms including Discord, Reddit, etc.
- Exceptional oral, written, interpersonal communication and content creation skills.
- Willingness to collaborate with cross functional teams from different time zone.
- Proven experience in content creation and marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a marketing role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in AAA PC/Console community management.
- Experience in streaming, developing and executing developer diaries.
- Hardcore Soulslike action RPG fan
- Work experience in JRPG/Anime style games.
- Experience in collaborating among different time zones (Korea, US, EU)
- Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and tactics for channel growth
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and community engagement.
Education
- Master’s degree in marketing, Communication or related discipline, or Business Administration with commensurate academic and/or work experience in such disciplines.
