Position: Sr. Manager, Biz Marketing (Category Growth)

Coupang Taiwan is looking for an extra-ordinary talent to join their marketing team to manage Category Growth initiatives and deliver superlative growth on focus categories through tailored growth initiatives.

What will you do? 

  • Design and implement specific growth initiatives across merchandising, promotions / pricing and other marketing areas to deliver incremental growth in specific focus categories of Coupang
  • Work with different channels and teams (CRM channels, OM, pricing and Analytics) to drive specific execution components for the categories
  • Devise new ideas to unlock growth for specific categories and rigorously test them to identify winners which can be scaled
  • Work on unearthing customer insights along with marketing insights team to identify opportunities on an ongoing basis for specific categories
  • Work with category – selection teams to continuously identify opportunities for growth and create feedback loop with selection

Essential Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of CRM / customer / loyal program management, promotions management, channel marketing or  Program Management experience in an e commerce or digital business environment
  • Strong analytical skills and track record of data based decision making
  • Independent and Entrepreneurial – ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong ability to prioritise across tasks and work streams
  • Strong communication skills with a high level of proficiency in both Mandarin and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Marketing or Program Management experience directly related to CRM or growth or Pricing / Merchandising programs in E commerce or D2C brand set ups
  • Hands-on E-commerce or B2C domain experience is strongly preferred.
  • Well versed in basic data management / BI tools like SQL, Python, R, Power BI etc high degree of comfort dealing with complex sets of data for analysis
  • Experience in delivering digital merchandising led growth or category insights led customer growth in the past
