Role Overview
Team is focused on building process that help drive the efficiency of the FC and SubHub automation systems. This includes using data to determine optimal process to maximum capacity ensure capacity limits are not exceeded. Build processes and programs in support of operational needs and how automation will support those changes and the impacts to critical path maintenance and overall machine components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop process flows leveraging data and comprehensive knowledge to drive systemic improvements
- Analyze processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation; Implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to gather input and align on recommended changes
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation of process improvements
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation technologies to streamline processes
- Develop metrics and analysis in Excel to measure process performance
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and compelling manner
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience working with warehouse automation systems
- Basic understanding of how automation works from software systems to hardware
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of automation machine capabilities and capacities
- Experience building process mappings and programs that drive systematic improvements
- Ability to analyze current processes, recognize inefficiencies, and develop strategies for improvement
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to drive continuous optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering or a strong foundation in Mathematics
- Proven experience in an e-commerce warehouse environment, including familiarity with automation and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- A background in developing preventive maintenance programs for automation systems
- Fluency in English
