Requirements
- Evaluate the incoming telematics data sets for availability of attributes required for trip calculations, identifying potential gaps or inconsistencies.
- Provide guidance to the team on interpreting telematics datasets and correlations between various telematics attributes, to identify data dependencies and relationships.
- Collaborate with data engineers to develop efficient data cleaning and quality rules, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Assist in creating data models to identify and communicate telematics data insights
- Skills required:
- Deep understanding of telematics data, including its structure, attributes, and relationships
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
- (Preferred) Understanding of data engineering principles and practices, preferably with tools like Databricks.
- (Preferred) Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
