The Strategy & Planning team, along with our passionate Agile Coach crew, is dedicated to strategy formulation, prioritization, strategic and operational planning, program management, and vendor management efforts while building next-gen Total Cost of Ownership capabilities.
Reporting to the Director of Agile / Ways of Working COE, PMO, the Agile Coach plays a pivotal role in driving our Agile transformation. Collaborating with teams at all levels of the organization, you will facilitate the adoption of Agile frameworks, methodologies, and standard processes. Your expertise and mentorship will be instrumental in promoting a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and training to teams, managers, and executives to improve their understanding of Agile principles.
- Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and planning sessions to promote partnership, communication, and problem-solving within teams.
- Support our community of Scrum Masters as an Agile guide.
- Champion Agile CoE standards within the teams you support to drive adoption of organizational standard methodologies.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement and guide teams in implementing solutions.
- Help handle the cultural shift required for Agile transformation, encouraging an approach of agility and adaptability.
- Develop and supervise key performance indicators and metrics to measure the success of Agile adoption.
- Promote open communication among teams and collaborators; advance positive team dynamics to ensure members collaborate and work optimally within and across teams.
- Stay current with agile methodologies, tools, and share knowledge with the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years' of proven experience in business Agile coaching, mentoring, and or similar leadership roles.
- Knowledge across several Agile frameworks including, Lean, Agile-Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Extreme Programming (XP).
- Deep understanding of business agility frameworks, practices, and key behaviors for organizational success.
- Deep understanding Agile software delivery, the path to production, and other operational aspects.
- Experience with Agile toolsets (e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Outstanding communications and partner leadership skills and strong Emotional Intelligence to read verbal and nonverbal cues in others so you can communicate effectively and champion balanced working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant work experience playing an active role in Agile transformations.
- Demonstrated experience of coaching organization on Agile standard methodologies.
- Proficiency in organizational change techniques to facilitate cultural and interpersonal shifts.
- Previous experience in leading or giving to an Agile Center of Excellence.
- Possess one or more sophisticated Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, IAPM-Certified Agile Project Manager, Scrum Alliance - Certified Scrum Product Owner, ICP Agile Coaching (ACC), Lean Six Sigma -Green/Black Belt, etc.).
- Experience working in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
