Sr IT Business System Analyst

Full-Time

Job Summary:

  • The primary focus of this role is to provide comprehensive support for Salesforce applications including CPQ, SF360 and related applications primarily for Japan office. You will be responsible for tasks such as process design, systems analysis, creating user stories, functional specifications, monitoring production, resolving issues, conducting testing, and providing ongoing support after implementation. Additionally, you may also be involved in new development projects and minor enhancements for these applications.
  • As part of your responsibilities, you will be assigned IT projects by the IT Business Applications leader, where you will be responsible for project planning, requirements gathering, coordinating with stakeholders, managing project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to define business systems requirements for enhancements, new technology implementations and lead cross functional meetings as part of requirements gathering, driving projects, or providing status updates on various projects. Also set user expectations in terms of delivery dates & scope.
  • Analyze business scenarios and design solutions by collaborating with other IT team members in Japan, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Europe, US, local service provides to design and implement solutions that meet the emerging needs of Japan (Primary), South Korea, Taiwan, India business. 
  • Facilitate change management and transition to future state working with various stakeholders.
  • Organize and Deliver IT Business Application Support for existing issues and newly delivered enhancements/projects in Salesforce and related supply chain applications like MD-Net etc.
  • Write User stories, Blueprint documents, functional specification documents, Test scripts and other documents required for development and other efforts. Train users on new modified system configuration as it affects business processes.
  • Assist the local service provides, offshore develop team for the system unit tests, system integration tests; assist the users for the user acceptance tests (UAT) if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Administer and configure Salesforce to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, and process builder.
  •  Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.
  •  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  •  Provide training and support to end-users on Salesforce functionality.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features to provide recommendations for process improvements.
  •  Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate Salesforce with other systems.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rule

Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 5 + Years of Experience in supporting & administrating Salesforce administration and configuration.
  • Knowledge and general understanding of Commercial & Customer service support operations, Order to cash, service contracts.
  • General understanding in document control for medical device company and able to communicate with local IT service providers, offshore Team.
  • Experience in Fit& Gap analysis, Blueprinting, writing user stories, Functional Specification, Test scenarios & Test cases.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes

Desired

  • Experience in Service now, Track wise, Coupa, EDI applications, Salesforce CPQ, Workday, Coupa.
  • Experience in Supporting Business users in a Class III & IV medical device company.

Language Skills

  • Mandatory: English-Business Level, Japanese – Native or Business Level.
  • Optional: Korean, Chinese

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Salesforce Administrator certification Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant are a plus.
