The Dynatrace Instructional Design Team is responsible for the planning, design, creation, and management of Dynatrace platform education and enablement materials.
We are seeking a talented The Instructional Designer’s will be responsible for creation and developing of high-quality effective and engaging learning assets, online courses, guided learning paths, and assessments that serve Dynatrace customers, partners, and employees.
Dynatrace University Instructional Designers need to gain an in-depth understanding of the Dynatrace platform, 3rd party software, and industry technology to manage the logistics and development of learning assets.
Develop and produce end-to-end, high quality e-learning and live training curriculum
Design and develop principles and standards using sound instructional design for establishing repeatable, quality learning solutions.
Be a mentor to internal enablement program managers and instructors on best practices in instructional design and enablement solutions.
Plan and execute instructional design strategies and programs such as OnDemand e-learning courses and instructor instructor-led training.
Provided the knowledge gaps, determine the learning materials needed for enablement.
Develop relationships with Dynatrace platform experts to gather course requirements, develop course content, and solicit feedback.
Develops and designs innovative learning solutions for the Dynatrace platform and related technologies.
Creates and maintains learning activities and exercises in the forms of labs, guides, and knowledge checks.
Produce high-quality course materials using editing and multimedia development tools.
Create storyboards that include audio scripts for video content.
Develop an in-depth understanding of and ability to use the Dynatrace platform and keep pace with enhancements to enable course updates and continuously improve existing learning programs.
Implement quality assurance for all learning development and assets.
Analyze customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to refine learning materials.
Minimum Requirements
Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience with e-learning, blended learning, and Web-based courseware development in the information technology industry.
3+ years of experience in advanced knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning theory.
Preferred Requirements
Advanced knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning theory.
Knowledge of IT concepts, components, and technologies related to client-server cloud-native and distributed application architectures, web and mobile applications, and the software application delivery chain.
Ability to gather and assimilate technical information and translate it into learning for all user levels and types with well-defined learning objectives.
Experience with e-learning, , graphics, and audio development tools, such as Camtasia Studio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, WavePad, Articulate Rise.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to develop training materials.
Experience working with cloud-based Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video content delivery systems such as Screencast.
Experience with asset management, version control, and ticketing in a work management system, such as Jira.
Experience with piloting and testing ILT and self-paced courseware.
Strong project management skills needing minimal supervision.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve on your own yet knowing when to ask for assistance.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and shift focus to different projects on an as needed basis.
Bachelor’s degree in technology, education, or related field preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
DOE, annual salary is $82,000 - $100,000 plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401k, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience, education and location.
