We are looking for a Sr. HPC Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best-in-class service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers in HPC environments.
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to HPC infrastructure, including Linux administration, job schedulers, MPI libraries, and networking.
  • Contribute to the team's knowledge base by documenting technical solutions.
  • Creating educational materials and participating in project work that enhances our HPC support capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product engineering and research, to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Mentor and educate other engineers through one-on-one sessions and group training.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of hands-on experience in HPC environments, focusing on administration, troubleshooting, and support.
  • 10 years of experience educating customers on the features, functionalities, and best practices of Defender for Cloud and Sentinel, empowering them to maximize the value of their investment.
  • 10 years of experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, research, and development, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues and provide feedback for product improvement.
  • 5 years of experience guiding customers through the implementation and configuration of Defender for Cloud and Sentinel, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with security best practices.
  • Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of HPC schedulers (e.g., Slurm, LSF) and MPI libraries.
  • Experience with cloud core platforms (compute, storage) and managing HPC clusters both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and InfiniBand.
  • Familiarity with security and OS internals (Linux and/or Windows).
  • Knowledge of virtualization concepts and virtual system administration.
  • Experience administering Linux (boot process, file systems, network device, and protocol configuration).
  • Relevant Microsoft Technology Certifications are preferred.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $84,100 to $111,300 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
