About the Role

As Sr. Global Sales Methodology Manager, you will collaborate with key business stakeholders across the revenue organization, marketing and product to activate and reinforce G2’s sales methodology and motions.  Your mission is to; define, inform, and influence G2’s practices for sales messaging, deal execution and opportunity management, all while balancing operational rigor with high-impact, sustainable outcomes throughout our sales process.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and scale our selected sales methodology, aligning to the customer journey, through universal messaging, clear definitions of sales motions and input metrics.
  • Build and reinforce the mentality, sales skills and culture to rally G2’s sales team around messaging, process, practice, tools & techniques to succeed and scale.
  • Lead Revenue team members and leadership through skill training and assessments, acting as an engaging and dynamic mentor, coach, and facilitator in live and virtual environments.
  • Improve productivity of new hires and internal promotions by aligning methodology into new hire onboarding experience across GTM roles.
  • Cultivate strong, positive relationships and collaborate with key members across the Global Revenue Enablement team, GTM Ops, Revenue Leaders and other Cross-Functional Partners.
  • Facilitate training and enablement through a mix of mediums, both in-person and virtually.
  • Design, produce, and externally source training content to achieve rep skill proficiency, coordinating with the broader revenue team on what will move the needle most.
  • Measure, analyze, and report the impact of training programs via leading and lagging sales performance metrics, certification scores and engagement.

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of combined experience in sales and sales enablement.
  • Ability to commute to G2’s Chicago based office for in-person trainings and meetings.
  • Direct experience implementing enterprise sales methodologies.
  • Dynamic, engaging, and agile presenter with the power to command a room, lead colleagues to moments of self discovery, while creating a safe environment to provide insightful feedback.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver skillful messaging to effectively reach key audiences and stakeholders to influence project outcomes.
  • Ability to plan, execute and achieve objectives within a defined scope, budget and set of resources.
  • Experience driving change management efforts using strategies to equip front-line leadership with the tools necessary to drive practice and reinforcement.
