The Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy platform is a revolutionary system designed to redefine precision and efficiency in minimally invasive lung biopsy with a focus on early lung cancer detection. We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive the commercial success of this platform.

Role Overview

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Ion portfolio will play a key role in driving product launches, developing portfolio messaging and positioning, and driving product adoption in the US and APAC markets. This person will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to ensure the system’s success in current and emerging markets. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and tactical execution, leveraging deep market insights, clinical knowledge, and stakeholder collaboration to drive awareness, adoption, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches in the U.S. and other priority markets, ensuring cross-functional and regional stakeholder alignment and excellence in delivery
  • Identify and define customer segments, including healthcare providers, hospital administrators, and patients
  • Develop personas and customer journey maps to tailor marketing efforts to each segment’s specific needs and decision-making processes
  • Prioritize high-value market opportunities by analyzing clinical, economic, and operational drivers
  • Craft compelling, differentiated product messaging that resonates with target audiences, including healthcare providers, patients, and payers
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), advisory boards, and healthcare providers to gather insights and validate messaging
  • Create impactful sales tools and marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, white papers, and digital assets, tailored to segmented audiences
  • Partner with Product Management, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory teams to ensure marketing strategies align with product features, benefits, and compliance
  • Collaborate with the Regional Marketing teams to design and implement campaigns that drive awareness, demand, and adoption
  • Engage and develop relationships with KOLs through site-visits, courses/conferences and onsite summits, roundtables, and lab events
  • Adapt and customize global messaging, positioning, and launch strategies to align with the unique requirements of Asian countries
  • Conduct market-specific research to gather customer insights, competitive intelligence, and identify growth opportunities within APAC markets
  • Support regional teams in developing relationships with KOLs, healthcare providers, distributors, and patient advocacy groups

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 5 years in the medical device, biotechnology, or healthcare industries
  • Proven success in launching medical technologies and driving market adoption
  • Strong ability to translate global strategies into impactful, region-specific marketing initiatives
  • Proven track record of working effectively across regions, cultures, and with cross-functional teams
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior management and customers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Expertise in robotic systems, diagnostics, or minimally invasive technologies
  • Familiarity with regulatory and reimbursement environments in the healthcare industry
  • Experience working in a global environment, understanding Asian market nuances

Travel : Yes, 30% of the time (domestic and international)
