About The Role
We are actively seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as a Sr. Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) Operations Manager. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and implementing our global operating model for the Global DEI&B team, with a focus on scaling operations across various global regions. Your responsibilities will extend to managing the development and delivery of DEI&B data to key stakeholders, nurturing vendor relationships, and overseeing the rhythms of the business, including preparing and supporting the execution of QBRs, Quarterly DEI&B Meetings, Board Decks, and All Hands. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with key stakeholders across all regions to ensure that every employee has specific experiences and the necessary tools to foster a sense of belonging.

What You'll Do

  • Global Operations Management:
  • Responsible for overseeing and optimizing operational processes on a global scale.
  • Ensures alignment of processes with organizational goals and standards.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to implement standardized processes across locations.
  • Manages projects that involve the implementation or scaling of processes across the organization.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitors project timelines and budgets to achieve global scalability.

  • Global Process Optimization:
  • Analyzes existing processes to identify areas for improvement and scalability.
  • Collaborates with teams to redesign and standardize processes for global efficiency.
  • Utilizes data and analytics to measure and optimize process performance.

  • Global IT Systems Management:
  • Manages technology infrastructure and systems that support global processes.
  • Collaborates with teams to implement and maintain global technology platforms.

  • Change Management:
  • Facilitates the adoption of new processes across the organization.
  • Develops and executes change management plans to ensure successful implementation.
  • Addresses questions and ensures that teams adapt to new processes smoothly.

  • Global Training Coordination:
  • In partnership with the Global VP of DEI&B, this person will support the implementation of  training programs to educate employees on global DEI&B topics. 
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training initiatives.

  • Global Communication Coordination:
  • Manages communication strategies to disseminate information about global processes.
  • Ensures all internal intranet and external social channels are updated with relevant and timely content. 
  • Partner with communications consultants to upload content into communications delivery platforms and oversee comms execution process. 

  • Manages External Vendor Relationships and DEI&B Contractors:
  • Oversee and cultivate relationships with external vendors and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) contractors.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration to enhance diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Manage vendor contracts, expectations, and performance to drive successful DEI&B outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with external partners to support the organization's goals and values.

  • Manages Rhythms of the Business: 
  • Plan, execute, and oversee all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, resource requirements, and dependencies.
  • Allocate and manage project resources, ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify and manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manages and tracks D&I Global Budget and timelines.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and discussions as needed.  
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Your Background

  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Proven experience in scaling global operating models, no prior DEI&B experience required. 
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and execute detailed project plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing global events and training programs.
  • Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and commitment to promoting an inclusive workplace.
  • Proficiency in utilizing tools and technology to streamline operations and communications.

  • Desired Education and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a project manager, demonstrating successful project delivery.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and guide a project team.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and project management methodologies.

This position is available remote, in the following locations:

  • Alberta, Canada - Remote
  • British Columbia - Remote
