Sr Fullstack Developer (Java, React.js & Python: ML / Predictive analytics) - Remote Job

We're searching for a driven and talented Sr full-stack developer to join our founding team. You'll be instrumental in building our core applications from the ground up. This is a unique chance to shape a product, contribute to our company's growth, and have a significant impact on the future of AI-powered fintech.

This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity. While Bertoni handles the recruitment, you would work directly with the end client through our U.S.-based partner (outsourcing model).
 

Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Development: Take ownership of feature development across the entire stack using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, React and Python (Machine learning)
• Collaboration: Partner with a small, highly skilled team of offshore developers, providing
• guidance and ensuring top-notch code quality.

• Problem Solving: Tackle technical challenges head-on and find innovative solutions.
• Communication: Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical team members.

Requirements:

• Experience: +5 years of professional experience in Java/React full-stack development, ideally with some exposure to the fintech industry.
• Advanced written and spoken English (B2- C1/C2) is a must have,

Technical Skills:

• Java: Strong proficiency in Java with experience using Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• React: Proven experience building modern front-end applications with React.js.
• Databases: Experience with SQL databases.
• API Design: Understanding RESTful API principles.
• Python: focused on predictive analytics (not web development), (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib etc.).
• AI/ML: Familiarity with machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) or experience integrating AI capabilities.
• Bonus: Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms, testing frameworks (JUnit,Mockito), and CI/CD pipelines.

Contract details:

• Contract Type: Independent contractor (fee for services contract type), which does not include tax deductions or insurance, only a gross monthly payment.
• Location: The client is based in the U.S., but this role is fully remote role.
• Contract Duration: 1-year term with renewal based on performance.
• Schedule and Time Zone: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week), aligned with the New York time zone.
• Rate: USD 4,000 per month.
• NDA: You’ll need to sign a specific NDA, separate from the main contract.
• Interview Process: 1 interview with Bertoni, a brief interview with the partner, and 3 interviews with the end client.
