As the Sr. PMO Director at Lucid, you will play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness and accountability for Lucid initiatives and company priorities. You will lead a team of project managers, program managers and technical project managers. You will oversee project portfolio management, resource allocation, and ensure the successful delivery of projects aligned with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, mentorship, and strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the strategy & executive leadership team to develop and align the PMO's objectives and strategies with the organization's goals and vision.
  • Ensure projects proceed according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, negotiating changes in project resources as necessary.
  • Collaborate with functional areas in the supervision of project personnel, including work allocation, training, and problem resolution.
  • Lead program steering meetings to ensure program progress stays on track and decisions are made to support the progress.
  • Coordinate project resources to ensure project objectives are met, including project managers, technical experts, and other staff.
  • Communicates with business and technical leadership regarding program strategy, direction, status, risks and recommendations
  • Develop and implement project management tools and software, ensuring effective communication and alignment with internal strategy.
  • Analyze project data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring project goals are met.
  • Stay current with a variety of approaches used in the industry. Facilitates the tailoring of new methodologies to the environment as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams, including training and development, to ensure effective project management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software
  • Experience with Agile processes such as Scrum
  • Experience in a B2B and B2C environment
