About the role

We are hiring for a Sr. Director of People Data Analytics & Technology on our People team. As our Sr. Director, you will use data and technology to drive our people strategy and enhance organizational effectiveness. This role involves creating and implementing a comprehensive people analytics strategy, overseeing HR technology systems, developing an employee listening and sensing strategy, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. You will be a strategic problem solver with a strong background in people analytics and HR technology, passionate about using data to improve employee engagement, retention, and performance.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $193,860.00 and up to $274,700.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. 

In this role, you can expect to (responsibilities)

  • Develop and implement a well-rounded people analytics strategy that aligns with Chime’s business goals and HR objectives.
  • Lead the development of metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide insights into workforce trends, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for improving employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive employee listening and sensing strategy to gather feedback and insights from employees.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of HR technology systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
  • Partner with HR leaders and key team members to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Build and lead a team of data analysts, HRIS specialists, and technology experts.

To thrive in this role, you have(requirements)

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in people analytics, HR technology, or a related field with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R), HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • The ability to think strategically and translate business goals into data-informed initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends in people analytics and HR technology.
