Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead the product marketing strategy and execution for Cohere’s solutions.  Working closely with solution owners, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering product marketing that resonates with buyers and helps Cohere hit our growth goals.  Ultimately, the work you do will have a direct impact on the growth of the company and our ability to impact more patients at a time in their healthcare journey when they need help most.

You should apply for this role if you are an experienced product marketing leader who can independently lead product marketing end to end.  You are experienced in marketing digital and technology first solutions and distilling complex capabilities into simple messages.  You have led small high powered teams and have a passion for producing great marketing.  You value rapid execution and can iterate quickly based on feedback.  You are a great communicator, value simplicity, and are constantly coming up with new ways to communicate our products and solutions to the world.

What you will do:

  • Define, maintain and deliver Cohere’s overall product marketing strategy and execution to help ensure achievement of Cohere growth goals.
  • Collaborate with commercial strategy, product management, business development, sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our targets.
  • Develop and maintain intelligence on our target markets & buyers - who they are, their needs and their buying criteria.
  • Develop and maintain intelligence on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Understand and support our sales team - develop and manage training on the problems we solve for our buyers and users, and manage sales tools development.
  • Plan the launches of new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Build, train, guide and mentor a product marketing team that will grow as Cohere grows.
  • Assess the ongoing effectiveness of our product marketing strategies.

Your background & requirements:

  • 8+ years of successful product marketing experience for digital products. Experience marketing to health insurance plans is a plus.
  • 3+ years experience managing marketing staff and functions.
  • Highly strategic with experience in identifying target markets. buyers and crafting positioning that generates interest and qualified leads.
  • Superlative content development skills and experience; excellent writing skills.
  • Familiarity with modern product marketing concepts and structures.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
