ABOUT THE ROLE 
 
Job Overview: As the Senior Director of Data and AI Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, growth, and success of our Data and AI pillar. You will be responsible for leading and motivating data and AI technologists, defining and executing business development strategies, and collaborating with other leaders within the organization to ensure alignment and synergy across the company. The ideal candidate will possess mastery with multiple tools and languages in Data and AI, along with a proven track record of successfully crafting and deploying architecture solutions for enterprise clients. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive Strategy and Change: 

  • Lead cross-organizational discussions to drive the strategic direction of the company. 
  • Champion and implement change initiatives to optimize processes and enhance organizational effectiveness. 

Business Development Strategy:

  • Define and execute business development strategies to drive growth and expansion within the Data and AI pillar. 
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to enhance our solution offerings. 
  • Initiate pilot projects in a specialized innovation lab for promising AI technologies.  
  • Conduct internal workshops and training to demystify AI, fostering a culture of innovation.  
  • Collaborate with other Amplify leaders to integrate AI into our services, operational practices, and solutions.  

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Create sales collateral in support of pre-sales initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to develop compelling AI solution proposals and support the pursuit of new business opportunities: RFPs, POCs, and new client projects.  
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to accurately scope and estimate Data and AI projects, ensuring accurate planning and resource allocation.  
  • Engage with existing customers and new clients in the pre-sales phase to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for Data and AI-driven solutions.  
  • Lead Data and AI-focused client presentations, demos, webinars, workshops and proofs-of-concept (POCs) to demonstrate the value of the company's AI capabilities.  

Collaboration and Leadership: 

  • Collaborate effectively with peers across the organization, particularly with other pillar leaders, to ensure alignment of goals and objectives. 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team of 10+ managers and directors within the Data and AI pillar. 

Ownership of Solution Offerings: 

  • Own the development and evolution of pillar solution offerings and roadmap to meet the evolving needs of clients. Partner actively with Sales & Account partner to understand our client needs, drive or tailor enhancements to our offering’s that meet those needs, and support sales to evangelize these solutions in customer facing meetings. 
  • Ensure that our solutions are innovative, competitive, and aligned with industry best practices. 
  • Ownership of technical scope and sign off for deliverables-based Data and AI projects.  

Leadership Pipeline Development: 

  • Develop and implement a robust leadership pipeline within the Data and AI pillar to nurture and cultivate talent. 
  • Mentor and coach managers and directors to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive career growth. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Data and AI pillar, increasing tenure and maintaining low attrition. Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the Data and AI pillar, as well as across pillars. 

Setting Tone and Inspiration: 

  • Set the tone and inspire a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the Data and AI pillar. 
  • Serve as a thought leader in the field of data engineering, data visualization, and AI, both internally and externally. 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role within a consulting firm or similar environment. 
  • Extensive experience in data engineering (i.e., Azure, Snowflake, dbt, databricks), data visualization (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma), and artificial intelligence. 
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive business development strategies and achieve revenue targets. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. 
  • Passion for driving innovation and staying abreast of emerging trends in the data and AI space.

SALARY AND BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS      
 
We consider a variety of factors when making compensation decisions. We share this to ensure transparency and set expectations for those considering opportunities with us.    
 
The beginning salary range for this role is $160,000 to $180,000.
Total compensation includes base salary and other compensation..
 
As you excel at Amplify, there is potential for salary increases and promotions. If you were to remain in this role, there is earning potential for this level of $230,000
