Position Overview:

 

The Sr. Director of Cloud Sales is a strong technology and business sales leader with a proven track record of growing teams and new practices that will lead a team responsible for driving cloud consumption and services, and SaaS solutions. This team will consist of cloud executives that will position cloud and cloud outcomes to business leaders and a team of strong sellers to sell SaaS solutions (UCaaS, CCaaS, DRaaS, Security as a Service). This individual will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our cloud and SaaS offerings, partnering with sales, developing and executing sales strategies, and building relationships with key customers and partners. This person must be a high-performing leader that has a hunter mentality, constantly ensures their team exceeds quotas, and a proven track record in technical selling, emphasizing partnerships with public cloud providers like AWS, Microsoft, and Google; as well as partnerships with SaaS providers like Ring Central, 8x8, Five9’s, etc

What you’ll do as the (Job Title):

  • Lead and manage a team of cloud client sales executives and SaaS Executives
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive cloud, SaaS, and services revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Fosters relationships with IT clients and prospects
  • Partners with Sales leaders and teams to help drive cloud practice
  • Collaborates with prospective clients and with team to implement tailored product solutions for their intricate business requirements.
  • Lead the team in designing, selling, and delivering information product proposals and presentations to C-level decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Contribute to Zones success by achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets and goals

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in a sales leadership role developing high-performing teams.
  • 10 years of experience with go-to-market and leading a team to meet business growth goals
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technology and its business applications
  • Strong understanding of FinOps, cloud security, and SaaS
  • Desire to contribute to Zone’s long-term vision and prosperity, driven by a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

 

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $160,000 - $225,000 + bonus.

 

Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
