We have an exciting opportunity to join our Employee Communications team as a Senior Communications Manager II on our Channels & Content Center of Excellence. This person will be responsible for Company Connect, LinkedIn’s biweekly all employee live meeting hosted by our CEO. Company Connect provides regular updates and context on LinkedIn’s business strategy and performance, while bringing together our global employees around our shared mission and vision. 

With Company Connect at the center of how we communicate with employees, you will have a vision for the content that moves our business objectives forward in an engaging and compelling way, while also being able to execute against that vision in rapid, two-week cycles with multiple stakeholders and partner teams. You’ll work closely with LinkedIn’s executives to understand priorities and set agendas, and then lead or steer content development and global on-site experiences with the Senior Employee Communications Manager and the Employee Events Program Manager.

Company Connect is a high-quality production attended by every global LinkedIn office that requires support from multiple partner teams, including technical, production and design. You’ll oversee the day-to-day work to support the goals of the meeting, while also engaging in long-term planning to evolve this core communications channel to meet the changing needs of our business and engage our employees. In partnership with the broader Employee Communications team, you’ll find creative ways to amplify the stories shared at Company Connect and will also support special one-off experiences, including our annual Global Leadership Event, Company Kickoff and companywide milestones and celebrations. 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, a history of partnering with executive-level leaders, deep business acumen and highly creative communications skills, while being able to oversee the day-to-day execution of multiple supporting individuals and teams. The candidate should also be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information, have attention to detail, be open minded to adapt to news ideas, and work in a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence from themselves and partners. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and culture and proactively recommend content that energizes our employees and brings clarity to our company strategy.
  • Ensure content is of the highest quality and clearly communicated by many cross-functional speakers in a way that drives our business goals forward. 
  • Oversee the day-to-day work of supporting team members, ultimately being accountable for the final work product while balancing multiple priorities and timelines. 
  • Partner with the Center of Excellence leader and broader Employee Communications team to ensure content is connected across our internal channel ecosystem.
  • Encourage employee connection to our business strategy and culture through consistent and compelling opportunities for participation, online and in-person. 
  • Day-to-day oversight of supporting technical, production and design teams, while partnering on the long-term strategy and roadmap. 
  • Support or lead the development of special, one-off experiences that recognize key business and cultural moments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/ BS Degree or equivalent experience 
  • 10+ years communications experience working with and providing guidance to c-suite executives 
  • Experience leading multiple partner teams (e.g., communications, technical, production, design) to deliver global communications programs 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, see the bigger picture and steer outcomes among people of all backgrounds and levels. 
  • Experience managing projects end-to-end, with an ability to multitask, move quickly, self-start and be agile enough to operate with ambiguity. 
  • Experience working on business storytelling, with an ability to connect dots across an large global organization. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving, judgment & analytical skills. 
  • Multi-channel experience, including a working knowledge of live event facilitation and video production. 
  • Experience working in, or closely with, a large-scale comms team. 
  • Experience working on global issues, with an ability to deal with fast moving, sensitive and real time information.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $134,000 to $210,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
