The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in web analytics implementation, with expertise in Adobe Analytics and tag management systems. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of user interactions across our digital platforms, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement tracking solutions aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
- 8-10 yrs of overall experience , atleast 4-5 yrs of relevant experience.
- Proficient in implementing advanced data layers for tracking user interactions and events on websites or apps.
- Knowledgeable about tracking user interactions within SPAs, including virtual pageviews and SPA-specific rules.
- Expertise in creating custom link tracking to capture user clicks and interactions with specific elements on web pages.
- Skilled in configuring custom variables (eVars, props) to categorize data for reporting and analysis.
- Proficient in setting up custom events to track specific user actions such as video views, form submissions, and downloads.
- Experience in web analytics implementation, preferably with Adobe Analytics.
- Understanding of using processing rules to manipulate and transform data before sending it to Adobe Analytics.
- Able to create and manage classifications to categorize and enhance data interpretation, such as campaign data.
- Proficient in JavaScript and HTML for customizing tracking implementations and troubleshooting issues.
- Experience with tag management systems like Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM)/AEP Data Collection. Desirable: Experience with Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager.
- Knowledgeable about implementing cross-domain tracking to track user journeys across multiple websites.
- Experience configuring automated data feeds integrated into Big Data Warehousing Solutions, with familiarity in SFTP and integrating Adobe Analytics data with other platforms.
- Skilled in conducting thorough data quality checks and validation to ensure accurate tracking and reporting, including familiarity with debugging tools for Adobe Analytics.
- Ability to build custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in configuring report suites to define how data is collected and organized (includes eVars, props, and events).
- Familiarity with Querying and Scripting Languages (SQL, Python/ or R Language) is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations (PII, PHI) is a plus.
