ABOUT YOUR ROLE
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WILL INCLUDE
Lead the development of new coating products and processes.
Develop project plans and lead projects from prototypes to product development to scale-up and commercialization.
Collaboration with project team and marketing to drive innovation and product promotion.
Conduct hand-on formulation design based on CTQs.
Involved in coating process and scaling up.
Build and expand coating technology through careful study of the literature, new scientific discovery, external development and development of intellectual property.
Write technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to management.
Develop and maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING IN FOR YOU
Ph.D. in materials science/polymer science/chemistry or a related field.
3+ years of experience in the materials/chemical industry, especially in coating & polymer processing.
Detailed knowledge of polymers, coatings, polymer processing, familiar with characterization/analysis techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong project leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Teamwork spirit.
Proficient in English with outstanding technical writing ability.
Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures.
