Visa is seeking an experienced and innovative payments professional to join the dynamic Visa Government Solutions team. This position is responsible for deepening and integrating Visa solutions within government disbursements ecosystems at a Federal & State level. The successful applicant will develop opportunities to support payment modernization goals and improve the payee experience at all levels of government. The ideal candidate will focus on retention and expansion of existing portfolios and partners as well as identifying, selling and piloting new payment flows across multiple Visa payment platforms as well as identifying and selling in Value Added Services.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with non-card payments solutions, for example, Visa Direct, is beneficial.
Consulting experience and/or past history selling to Government at Federal and state level a plus.
Financial payments experience with emphasis and focus on debit and prepaid card programs.
Experience building relationships and influencing Federal, State and/or Local Government Agencies to improve processes. Sales experience into Government a plus
Ability to negotiate business agreements and enhance existing and new relationships with financial institutions, program managers, non-profit organizations, and others.
Exceptional leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives with efficiency, professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success achievement.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Confidence and ability to effectively create and deliver presentations.
Demonstrate understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 153,800 to 278,850 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
