Who You Are

The Sr. Associate, Benefits & Compliance will play a pivotal role within the People Team on the efficient and effective execution of processes that impact our employees globally. This individual will perform critical HR functions such as ensuring timely and engaged onboarding practices, be a key member to resolve employee US benefits questions and process challenges, support compliance initiatives, and work closely alongside key stakeholders to support building a scalable future for our global business.  

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 2-3x per week in our San Francisco Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration of various US employee benefits programs such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness initiatives  
  • Be the subject matter expert on US benefits administration, manage QLEs, respond to employee inquiries and conduct and evolve US benefits orientation  
  • Design communication materials and educational resources to increase employee understanding of benefits, including continually looking for ways to make information more accessible to employees 
  • Regularly maintain the benefits module & integrations in Workday & partner with People Operations colleagues on system maintenance and updates as needed  
  • Oversee ACA tracking and reporting to see the compilation of federal and state filing   
  • Audit benefits records and transitions, produce reports, and assist with data analysis  
  • Review bi-weekly payroll from a benefits perspective to ensure accuracy and participate on the People Team-side of the US payroll process  
  • Project manage US Open Enrollment by overseeing communications, materials, events, and the setup in Workday by partnering with People Operations colleagues, benefits broker and vendors; conduct audits as needed to ensure the accuracy of Open Enrollment files  
  • Track, audit, and submit benefit invoices as well as timely reconciliation to Finance  
  • Manage COBRA administration  
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with partners in IT, Finance, Facilities, and Legal as we engage with cross-functional initiatives  
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience  
  • 3-5 years minimum of Human Resources experience   
  • Ability to work 2-3 days on-site  
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to integrate new skills/knowledge into your work  
  • Technology-minded with strong problem-solving skills  
  • Have a service-focused mindset   
  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation while managing multiple deadlines  
  • Familiarity with SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) controls and audit activities   
  • Desire to be part of engaged and collaborative team  
  • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal  
  • Working knowledge of multi-state and Federal employment laws; California is a plus   
  • Experience with Workday Benefits Administration   
  • Proficient with Office365 suite

At BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.
