As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Android applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create cutting-edge mobile experiences for our users.
Job Duties:
Development:
- Develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin or Java, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
- Architect, design, and implement new features and enhancements for our existing Android applications, considering usability, scalability, and security.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to ensure code quality and maintain coding standards.
- Collaborate with backend developers to design and consume APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange between the Android application and server.
Testing and Debugging:
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of Android applications to identify and fix defects, and optimize performance for different devices and OS versions.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure comprehensive test coverage, and assist in resolving any issues or bugs identified during testing phases.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Android development, and share knowledge with the team.
- Work closely with designers to implement intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences, ensuring seamless integration of backend services and APIs.
- Proactively identify and propose solutions to technical challenges, and participate in architecture discussions to improve the overall system design.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related degree.
(3+) Years in Android application development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality apps.
