FlexTal Staffing LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Sr Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise and a proactive approach to financial management. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and providing insightful analyses that support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end closing processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting processes.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial impacts of operational decisions.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and assist in their professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in financial reporting and compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
