SQL Data Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Client Services team within the Business Information area, which specialises in data analytics and data delivery.

You will provide data, analysis and consulting services & solutions to FTSE 250 clients, across several sectors including Banking, Financial Services, Energy and Telecommunications.

You will work directly with senior members of the team on a structured career path, which will start with data analysis, consultancy work and SQL/Oracle PL/SQL development.

We are looking for you to conduct analysis and data delivery independently and you will help develop analytical solutions and process automation using best practice methodologies.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Engage with clients to ensure requirements and data deliveries are understood and fulfilled to expectations
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high standard deliveries to our clients
  • Run simple and complex batch processes to deliver data to clients and use simple and complex coding to extract data to underpin data activities
  • Oversee the creation, modification and monitoring of automated processes for clients
  • Maintain the codebase and incorporate any new developments
  • Data analysis experience
  • Experience in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking with experience solving numerical and data problems
  • Understanding of data, data structures and their value regarding use for analysis and data delivery
  • Manage multiple deliverables
