About the team and position

This position will be responsible for procurement of all hardware and software purchases for Endpoint Operations. Includes monitoring and alerting for all upcoming expirations as well as identifying key requirements and issuers with software license compliance, contract terms, conditions and pricing.
This person will assist in all efforts relative to inputting, processing, monitoring and maintaining inventory of stock levels, all software licenses and hardware purchases. They will be responsible for ensuring that all of the necessary data has been collected and is accurate. They will also assist in establishing a process around these activities for future guidelines which will be published to the staff. Once established and published, they will assist in ensuring compliance around those guidelines.This position will also assist with process improvement initiatives to improve the quality, timeliness, and performance of the licensing and procurement processes through improved tools/processes, communication, and data analysis.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining the full lifecycle license management for all endpoint and user-based software. (purchasing to retirement)
- Reporting on license utilization, cost analysis, and reclamation opportunities.
- Managing the endpoint hardware stock levels throughout the environment (Corporate and Remote Field Services sites)
- Coordinating the recycling and e-waste management of hardware and software.
- Managing relationships with multiple vendors
- Developing and maintaining policy and procedures for the software inventory and licensing process.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive inventory to track, assign, and audit software licenses to optimize vendor relations and add value to the business.
- Tracking renewal dates and ensuring appropriate licensing is maintained.
- Ensuring agency and vendor adhere to all licensing and technical contract requirements.
- Serving as the main point of contact for internal and external software audits.
- Serving as the software licensing and contracts manager for all internal Carvana teams.
- Serving as an advisor for software licensing and contract initiatives.
- Assisting with process improvement initiatives to improve the quality, timeliness and performance of the licensing and procurement processes through improved tools/processes, communication, and data analysis.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our internal customers.
- Responsible for IT equipment which includes asset management, shipping, and inventory.
- Ability to travel between multiple headquarters locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you should have
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the technical support field.
- Top-notch customer service experience both in-person and virtually
- Valid and current driver’s license.
- Excellent time management & prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of software licensing processes and functions, including IT contract terms and conditions.
- Experience in software license compliance audits.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Skilled in organizing, managing, coordinating, and evaluating complex procurement processes.
- Ability to identify opportunities for use of solutions to improve efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and across Carvana
- Licensing knowledge of product use rights for Microsoft, Symantec, Adobe, etc.
- Familiarity with data cleaning, data transformation, and data modeling processes and techniques
- Familiarity with various IT management / governance frameworks such as ITIL, MOF, COBIT, etc.
- Big plus if you have experience with G Suites, Okta, Oomnitza, Confluence, Jira , and Workspace One
- Ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills to support end-users
- High level of learning agility, and an aptitude for dealing with a fast paced-work environment
- Be willing to take on new projects even if that means learning something new

Other requirements
To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
- Must be able to carry and transport up to 70 pounds up to 20 feet.
