This is a hybrid position which requires 8 days per month in our office in Washington DC. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission as WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position. To be eligible for this position, you must be a resident of DC, Maryland or Virginia at the start of employment. 
 
About the Program:

WRI's Operations department strives to make all global offices fully capable and low risk, enhancing their operational capabilities, establishing sustainable growth through a bond of mutual respect, and collaboration while sharing knowledge across the sisterhood of WRI offices. This is done by targeting upon standards of performance, measuring the efficiency and effectiveness for the sisterhood of offices.

Job Highlight:

Integration of the CRM into staff’s daily workflow globally across all International Offices, Programs, and Centers is critical to ensuring Salesforce is used to its fullest potential for maximal progress toward WRI’s goals. Reporting to the CRM Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for building enthusiasm around Salesforce and making the tool approachable to staff regardless of team, location, or seniority. You will work independently to develop a creative, timely, and relevant training curriculum. As changes are rolled out across the Institute, you will communicate both the technical changes and the business reasons behind the changes. You will stay abreast of changing institutional trends and coordinate with colleagues of varying perspectives to provide quality and relevant support.

What will you do:

User Empowerment and Training (60%):
 
  • Own WRI's Salesforce user resource offerings (Scheduled Hybrid Training Sessions, On-Demand Resources, Ad Hoc Trainings, and In-App Guidance)  
  • Ensure user compliance with training requirements • Promote a culture of active learning around Salesforce and related tools  
  • Identify common user pain points; Collaborate on the creation of new features, resources, and training materials to address these pain points 
Change Management (40%):
 
  • Manage release schedules and related communications with the CRM Board and Salesforce users to maximize positive impact while minimizing unintended consequences and change fatigue  
  • Keep a record of change requests and ensure adherence to institutional change management protocols 
What will you need:

  • Education: You have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience: You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in user/customer-facing and cross-functional roles
  • Experience using Salesforce or other customer relationship management tools (Monday.com, Blackbaud, Hubspot)
  • Existing knowledge of the Salesforce back-end is a big plus! A current Salesforce certificate is preferred
  • Experience communicating complex business processes to a variety of audiences
  • This position will demand exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required
  • Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization   
Potential Salary: US salary range is between 69,000 and 73,000 USD. Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
