General Description:
HRL is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to provide administrative and organizational support to an information technology team. The selected individual will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates, key stakeholders, and Government customers to ensure program success.
Essential Duties:
Provide administrative support for department supervisors, technical leads, and staff members in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Duties involve coordinating program activities, including:
Arrange appointments/meetings (e.g. with customers, interviews, administrative reviews)
Conduct low-to-high and high-to-low cross-domain data transfers between various security domains
Generate purchase requests, order and track to delivery
Maintain accountability of classified media in accordance with government regulations
Maintain documentation of all completed file transfers in accordance with customer policies and directives
Maintain shared schedules
Order and track supplies, materials, and equipment
Organize and execute administrative onboarding of new staff
Organize information, create and track action items, follow up with internal staff
Organize, coordinate and support staff morale events, office communications, notices, memos and announcements
Organize, track, maintain personnel clearance and credentials
Prepare financial, deliverable and new business reports
Review, author, and maintain Assured File Transfer standard operation procedures
Required Skills:
3+ years administrative experience
Basic computer skills required
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple assignments, establish priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner
Demonstrated ability to learn internal processes, interface with internal and external customers, and work effectively with others
Knowledge of office protocols including ability to interface with a wide variety of people and personalities (co-workers, technical staff, customers, director) as required
Must be able to work on multiple tasks
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have good telephone manners
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity or willingness to learn ServiceNow and Atlassian Jira
Basic financial knowledge desirable
Experience working in controlled/classified environments desirable
Required Education:
High School diploma/GED with 3+ years of experience in a related role
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Special Requirements:
This position is 100% on-site.
Responsibilities may sometimes require working evenings and weekends.
This position requires that the applicant selected be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Top Secret security clearance with polygraph within the last 5 years.
The applicant must be willing to maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $
39.62 - $
49.54 per hour + bonus + benefits.
