Business Development at Crunchbase
The Business Development team takes Crunchbase partnerships from ideas to execution. This includes driving usage and adoption of our entire product line, developing product-enabling partnerships to expand our platform, and crafting revenue opportunities.
The revenue partnerships team focuses on developing and growing partnerships who build on Crunchbase’s data platform (Powered By Crunchbase). We work with our partners to build enterprise-grade integrations and distribute our data and products; our goal is to help end-users discover Crunchbase data through our partners’ software and platforms while driving balanced revenue growth. This team is driven by business and technology agreements that build wins for our users, our partners, and our company.
As a Solution Architect at Crunchbase, you will be pivotal in driving new business and revenue generation by helping customers understand and integrate our products and data into their solutions. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Crunchbase’s API infrastructure and data sets to meet customer needs effectively. You will collect customer feedback to inform the Product and Engineering teams, ensuring continuous improvement of our data offerings and API infrastructure. Your efforts will ensure the effective delivery of Crunchbase products through both internal and external mechanisms, aligning with overall business objectives and policies.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive new business and revenue by integrating Crunchbase products and data into customer solutions.
- Deliver technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance.
- Assess customer needs, prepare detailed product specifications, and ensure effective product delivery and functionality.
- Serve as the primary contact and advocate for customers in the technical design and implementation of data solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and Product and Engineering teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide post-implementation support and optimization, continuously improving data offerings and API infrastructure.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend the adoption of new technologies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation and standards.
- Conduct internal reviews and evaluations of API infrastructure and data products
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in IT with a focus on solution architecture.
- Extensive experience in software development and system integration.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, AI/ML-derived data sets, and APIs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and self-starter mindset.
