The Role
DTEN is hiring for a talented Solution Sales Engineer to join their EMEA team to help accelerate sales and deliver incredible customer experience both pre and post-sales.
The primary objective in this role is to provide exceptional solutions engineering service to prospective new and existing customers, DTEN reseller partners and the DTEN sales team across the EMEA region.
The role is remotely based and should be located close to a key city hub for travel within UK, Germany or France.
DTEN are delivering innovative Meeting and Learning Space solutions via their hardware meeting space solutions powered by Ai and proprietary software. With a well balanced blend of technical and sales skills, your role will be to bridge the gap between the technical and commercial stakeholders to ensure the design & technical elements are optimal to deliver successful customer outcomes.
Supporting the DTEN channel partner ecosystem via virtual and onsite training, attending and speaking at trade shows, webinars and supporting sales meetings, you will be a leading technical voice and advocate for DTEN solutions. You will also have an important voice in the DTEN global organisation, working with your North America and APAC counterparts and aligning with DTEN’s product teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Applying your technical and solutions design skills, problem solving and business insights to bring value to DTEN’s end customers & partners.

Accountability and ownership to design, lead and ensure delivery of successful solutions to technical challenges within the sales and onboarding process
- Building & delivering sales presentations, product demonstrations, and educating customers (everyone from developers to product managers to C-level executives) via meetings, webinars, trade shows, videos.#

Training and supporting DTEN’s reseller partners, distributors, alliance partners and end customers
- Building relationships with key users and decision-makers with the aim to secure and increase revenue through growth and new business
- Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with DTEN channel partners and their sales engineering and solution architect teams whom you will work closely on many deals
- Close alignment and communications with DTEN sales organisation and regional leadership. Provide feedback from the front line with customers to DTEN product team to contribute to global product roadmap decisions
- Maintain and constantly be learning more to develop expert knowledge of DTEN products and services, the Video Conferencing, Video Rooms & UC Markets, and competitive players and landscape.
- Act as a leading technical voice and advocate of DTEN and create content and provide commentary for social media, webinars, trade shows & podcasts
- Accurate & timely reporting using Salesforce CRM tool and business tools
- Business travel (including some international) to customers, trade shows, and partner or industry events
REQUIREMENTS
- As well as possessing strong consultative, design and technical skills, being an excellent communicator you will also have experienced commercial mindset to help drive growth in the regional business
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Accountability and ownership of tasks and projects is fundamental
- A strong technical background with experience in video conferencing hardware and unified communications
- Experience and knowledge of deployment and delivering solutions with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms is essential. Wider platform integration knowledge is beneficial
- 3+ years minimum experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical account manager or Solutions Architect
- Proven experience working directly with customers and channel partners is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills

- Committed to contributing to teams sales targets
- A ability to efficiently communicate complex ideas around a technical topic, thinking quickly on the fly and using tools such as whiteboard to articulate ideas and concepts
- The ability to tailor a technical topic & discussion to both technical and non technical people in the room
- Hard working ethic and self driven, professional but fun, respectful and able to work as part of a team on a shared mission
- Fluent english is essential - Fluency in Additional European languages, especially German or French is highly desirable
- Experience with Salesforce CRM Tool, Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office, Video Conferencing (especially Zoom) are desirable
- Must be comfortable working in a Scale-Up Mindset. Fast-paced, quota-driven ever-changing environment where flexibility is essential
- Flexibility to Work with teams in multiple time zones
- Must have a private - not shared, home office space which has enough space to place DTEN devices for demo purposes
- Must have a clean drivers license and regular access to a car/ vehicle, large enough to transport Hardware screens of at least 55 inches to customers and events
