The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Solutions Delivery Lead to join our Technology Solutions Delivery team.
Reporting to the Director, Technical Delivery and Architecture, the Solutions Delivery Lead is responsible for delivering technology programs across Lines of Business. This role will partner with the technical team to define how the team will build the solution, set the delivery approach and release plan, and will facilitate point-based estimations. They will manage, plan, and deliver backlog enhancements and fixes as ongoing releases for the aligned business portfolio. The Solutions Delivery Lead and their team will be empowered and autonomous to drive production changes with broader support from the shared services teams, including Dev Ops, Release Management, Scrum Managers, Project Managers, Infrastructure/Connectivity, and Security Ops.

What your day looks like:
- Plan the projects and co-ordinate the project teams, including defining scope, timeline, resource allocation, stakeholder communications, etc.
- Partner with Project Managers and Product Owners to identify scope, user experiences, and prioritize the tailored delivery process
- Work with architects, vendors, and in-house developers to translate solutions into systems implementation and ensure solutions adhere to Aviso’s technology strategy and standards
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure timely escalations when needed
- Facilitate dependency and risk management and impediment removal for the defined deliverables
- Promote communication and collaboration across the organization’s SMEs to support delivery
- Assist in financial forecasting and resource planning for delivery
- Track and analyze projects’ performance, expenditures, procurement, and report on blockers, risks, overflows, and deficits
- Manage status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership
- Communicate scope changes and the rationale for decisions, timeline shifts, and resource adjustments
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience is required
- Minimum of 5+ years in technology delivery or integrations roles such as Project/Program Management and Consulting for infrastructure, cloud, or technology migration projects is required
- Experience as a SCRUM Master is an asset
- PMP, Agile, or SDLC certifications are an asset
- A track record of delivering significant projects or portfolios using waterfall and agile delivery methods is required
- Ability to engage independently with technical owners and product owners is required
- Ability to analyze and communicate changes to leadership and provide risk assessments is required
- Ability to achieve consensus amongst senior technical resources with cross-functional skillsets and facilitate collaboration and cooperation across Technology Solution Partners and Strategy & Business Transformation departments is required
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset and experience driving change initiatives to resolve and mitigate issues is required
- Experience with Project Management tools like MS Project and Visio for process mapping is required
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $90,000 - $111,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
