Waracle is looking for a Solution Architect to join us on a contract (Outside IR35) basis. This is a hybrid role working from any of our offices in the UK (Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh or London)
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, specifically Azure, and a deep understanding of modern web and mobile application architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
As a Solution Architect your duties will include:
Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable solutions on the Azure platform, focusing on financial applications.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to define and refine project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Utilise Azure Functions and related Azure services to build efficient cloud-based applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Design and implement REST APIs and Backend-For-Frontend (BFF) architectures that support seamless interaction between client applications and backend services.
Integrate authentication mechanisms, including .NET Identity Server, to ensure secure access to applications and APIs.
Work with front-end teams to ensure that web and mobile applications (using React Native) are designed and implemented according to best practices and project specifications.
Produce and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to guide development and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
