Overview
Our client is a leading online retailer based in Netherland. To cope with their rapid growth and market expansion, they are looking for a Solution Architect for their regional office in Hong Kong. You will be leading your team to translate business objectives into conceptual and practical solutions that will be the foundation for the company's future product roadmap.
What you will do:
- Craft the architectural blueprint for the next few years, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
- Oversee the design and development of the e-commerce platform, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance
- Take ownership of the entire e-commerce ecosystem, including pricing & business intelligence, product content, channel integration, webshops (running on Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure best practices and compliance with architectural standards. Work with both internal and external stakeholders to translate their needs into technical specifications.
- Lead technical, architectural, and functional discussions, guiding both business and development teams to create solutions that meet our long-term business goals.
- Define integration architectures and collaborate with partner system integrators, ensuring adherence to design patterns, methodologies, and compliance standards.
What you will need:
- Bachelor Degree holder or above with 5+ years of related experience
- Experience in developing any e-commerce solutions and applications and with experience using any commercial e-commerce tool like Salesforce CC, Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce will be a plus
- Proven experience in implementing large and complex e-commerce projects.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Architect certification in an e-commerce tool is a plus. Start-up experience is desirable.
- Willingness to travel.
