THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Lead and manage technical solutions for enterprise programs, and portfolio projects
- Build effective solutions based on business requirements
- Produce conceptual and logical architectures to meet strategic business, financial and technology objectives through documentation of systems, architectures, process flows and value-chains
- Ensure adherence of the solutions design with all relevant internal standards and external regulations.
- Manage trade-offs between speed to market, quality and financial impact
- Work alongside Director of Technology Architecture, Program Lead, Tech Lead, BA, SM, SA, and development scrum team to clarify application requirements
- Attend requirements meetings and analysis meetings
- Clarify application components and consolidate requirements to which are further extended to the business for approval
- Work alongside with the team to gage the feasibility of application enhancements/creation and answer:
1) Are these requirements feasible to implement?
2) Are these requirements properly aligned with existing application features/limitations?
3) How will this solution look once completed?
4) Present and defend the solution at various governance forums.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- 5+ years solution architecture (IT infrastructure and cloud development)
- Financial experience (preferably in payments)
- Large scale delivery experience
- 5+ years AWS cloud
- Good to have: 7+ years JavaScript/Typescript/Java
- Good to have: 3+ years AWS Lambda development
- Experience building artefacts and presenting solution/vision to various boards
- Experience collaborating with Solution Architect teams
- Experience working with and guiding technical teams toward the defined solution
- Experience working with clients, external teams, and business analysts toward defining a solution
- DevOps
- Experience leading development teams
- Software development experience and design
