The opportunity
Stone King are looking for an aspiring public & regulatory specialist to work directly with them. This is a rare opportunity to help develop our Public & Regulatory law offering and to join at an exciting point in our journey. You will do extremely interesting work and have an opportunity to learn directly from a nationally known public law solicitor. The work will range across core public bodies, national charities, faith organisations to professional regulation and the education sector.
The team act for those seeking to support the sector and those seeking to challenge it - whichever it is the individual will have an opportunity to be involved in important work being done for society. We support the public & regulatory sectors in improving lawful decision making, corporate governance and bringing as well as defending litigation in Tribunals and the Courts. We act for many household names in the third sector and support their public law and campaigning objectives. In joining our growing team, the individual will have the opportunity to work for a number of the firms key strategic clients, working with a range of partner leads and colleagues whilst managing your own caseload.
The work will be intellectually challenging whilst calling for a pragmatic, client friendly approach that understands the public interest context in which this work is carried out. The role will be based in our London office, although the role will offer hybrid working.
