- Performs multiple tasks including, but not limited to, loading and unloading case assemblies of a variety of sizes into and out of potting fixtures.
- Will assemble components of a variety of sizes and materials using hand tools.
- Must be able to use a microscope for extended periods.
- Will be doing repetitive assembly work using hand tools such as soldering irons, torque drivers, screwdrivers, drill bits, tweezers, other small hand tools.
- They will also work with semi-automated equipment to dispense potting materials.
- Employees will be required to work with solder, epoxy, cleaners and RTV. Employees must be able to use adhesives to assemble various parts, must be able to solder electrical components, interpret test data, and enter data into a database.
- Employees must have adequate knowledge of measurements and use measurement tools.
- The job requires sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to work any shift in a 24-hour period.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with soldering
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- May be required to work in a clean room environment
- Must be a team player
- Must have physical dexterity
Preferred:
- At least one-year production experience
- Solder certification
