Software Test Engineer (performance testing - Loadrunner, APM tools)

We are looking for a Performance Engineer with a solid foundation in performance testing to join our NIQ team. You will be responsible for executing performance testing activities, creating test scenarios, and analyzing performance across web, mobile, and backend applications. The role requires experience with tools like LoadRunner, VTS, JMeter, and APMs, and the ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in complex systems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather performance requirements (NFRs) and develop relevant testing scenarios. 
• Write and execute performance test scripts for both web and API applications. 
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks within multi-tier architectures. 
• Use application performance monitoring tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics to track system performance. 
• Leverage log analysis tools like Splunk or Datadog to diagnose and resolve performance issues. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the system is performing at optimal levels. 
• Prepare performance reports, documenting key insights and areas for improvement. 
• Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in performance engineering. 

• 3-5 years of experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, VTS, and JMeter. 
• Strong understanding of performance engineering concepts and experience scripting complex test cases. 
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud platforms. 
• Experience using performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog). 
• Familiarity with log management tools such as Splunk and Datadog. 
• Understanding of multi-tier application architectures and performance troubleshooting. 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with performance testing. 
• Experience in performance testing within cloud environments. 
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
