The Opportunity

Poppulo sees unique opportunity in employing AI to improve communication content and workflow under the umbrella of Poppulo AI. The Harmony platform has wide-ranging capabilities across different communication channels. These can be integrated to improve engineering efficiency and customer experience. To address these opportunities, we are expanding our engineering teams at Poppulo in India in addition to our engineering teams in USA, England and Ireland. We value strong, enthusiastic engineers who are excited to learn and work with new technologies. You will work alongside a fun, and highly motivated team of cross functional engineers (Development, QA, PM, UX/UI, Big Data). Writing high quality, secure and scalable code, we follow agile culture to develop exciting products that meet our clients’ current & future needs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

As a Software Test Engineer II, you will have responsibility for the quality approach taken by the team and drive continuous quality culture improvements in the team. 

 Ensure the team are implementing Test Automation at the appropriate test levels. You will contribute to test automation, writing and reviewing code. 

 Working closely with Development, Test, Product, UX, and others to ensure quality features are delivered to customers. 

 You will be responsible for establishing and managing an effective whole team test approach whereby the whole team understands and participates in testing 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years testing experience with web technologies/SaaS
  • Experience evaluating test automation tools and libraries to create an effective test automation strategy.
  • Experience developing a test Automation framework from scratch or significant refactoring of an existing framework using Java/Python/JavaScript/Ruby
  • Experience testing at both the UI and API Level.
  • Experience in an Agile Environment 
  • Experience with SQL queries and databases
  • Experience with deployment related troubleshooting in networking/infrastructure components in AWS and Kubernetes environment

  • Specialities (Data Analytics, Backend services, Load Testing, Observability)
  • AWS experience
  • Gitlab Experience
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and Shell scripting 
  • Progressive Approaches (e.g. Whole Team Testing Experience, Exploratory Testing Knowledge, context-based testing, modern testing principles)
