POSITION SUMMARY 

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and resourceful mobile automation-focused QA engineer to join our team on a one-year contract with the potential for extension or conversion. As a mobile automation QA engineer, you will help us design and develop test automation to ensure product quality and improve users’ experience with our mobile apps. You'll have a chance to work on interesting Fintech problems and make a real difference in the lives of our customers.

This position will be ideally hybrid from our Bengaluru office as part of our expanding site location. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of the mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and provide feedback on design, functionality, and usability.
• Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Espresso and UIAutomation
• Monitor application performance and provide insights for improvements.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Continuously improve testing processes, techniques, and technologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of experience working with mobile testing
• Ability to define, design, develop & maintain test automation frameworks
• Experience using industry-standard mobile testing tools like UI Automation for iOS and/or Espresso for Android
• Author manual test cases based on product spec, and Figma UI Design and automate them as part of a feature delivery team
• Ability to identify and  root cause Automation test and app failures
• Support weekly release regression of the app by automation and manual testing and providing sign-offs
• Ability to formulate test strategies, test methodologies, and best practices
• Knowledge of Product life cycle, release metrics, and goals Understand the full lifecycle of Product development and release metrics. Team player who collaborates well in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required
