The Role

As a Software QA Engineer - Automation, you have the opportunity to make a difference in our clients, the community, and within yourself.

You will be collaborating with team members and our clients in ensuring that the applications that we develop and the processes we use comply with defined specifications.

You will guide our clients in managing their test activities and processes, and drive their testing strategy to help them achieve their goals and make a difference in the lives of their customers.

Your Team

You will be working with a team of project managers, software engineers, and software testers in ensuring the quality of the applications that we create.

Collaborate with the client’s business team to ensure functionalities are consistently assessed for quality.

Work with Software QA Managers in developing quality initiatives within Stratpoint.

Mentor at least 3 Software QA Engineers.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop the QA strategy and framework on a project.
• Ensure that both business and tech teams adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the Software Methodology being used and the defined QA strategy.
• Create, manage and review test deliverables.
• Focus on continuous enhancements and identify areas of improvement. 
• Manage the development of test automation framework and scripts.
• Gather and present test metrics for the projects to key stakeholders.
• Perform basic QA tasks - test planning, test documentation, test execution, test reporting, and test automation.
• Mentor junior to mid Software QA Engineers.
• Manage quality initiatives within Stratpoint.
• Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

About You
You are/have:

• Graduate of any computer-related course
• At least 4 years of working experience in Software Quality Assurance
• At least 4 years of working experience in Test Automation
  • Programming Language: Python
  • Framework: Playwright
  • Version Control System: GIT
  • Automation Tool: Playwright
• Excellent understanding of the software development and quality assurance processes
• Solid working experience with integrated solutions
• Experience in mentoring QA teams
• Experience in helping develop quality processes
• Able to conduct client and team presentations
