The Manager of Software Engineering for Relativity Lists leads a dynamic group focused on innovating and delivering impactful enhancements to customer-facing front-end applications. With a focus on performance, this leader drives the team to build and enhance LIST & SEARCH usability. Balancing prioritization of feature requests with operational excellence, this leader ensures timely delivery of cutting-edge solutions to customers.

Your Role in Action

  • Build a highly effective software engineering team, fostering talent and alignment.
  • Manage end-to-end modern software application engineering teams.
  • Enforces standards for customer-facing applications by working with subject matter experts.
  • Align team goals with business requirements and drive automation for improvement.
  • Specify and analyze non-functional requirements within time and cost constraints.
  • Improves cloud-based architecture, design, and tooling to continuously deliver value to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Promote the adoption of development tools to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap, prioritizing features for maximum value.
  • Develop deep product knowledge within the team’s ownership area.
  • Advise on technology trends, staying updated for product competitiveness.

  • 6+ years of software development of commercial-grade systems and applications with experience leading successful engineering efforts
  • 4+ years of experience managing and software development team(s)
  • Excellent knowledge of software engineering discipline, including object-oriented programming languages (C#), high-scale and performance architecture, fault-tolerant distributed systems, data structures and algorithms, and cloud technologies. Azure development experience and ML knowledge are a plus
  • Experience with or knowledge of modern front-end engineering best practices, techniques, and frameworks – familiarity with JS frameworks such as Aurelia, Angular, React, and Vue is a plus.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation

  • Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
  • This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between 252,000 and 378,000 PLN. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
