Summary:

Age of Learning offers a purposeful part-time summer internship program to Software Engineering undergraduate and graduate students. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects under the guidance of an Age of Learning mentor who is a subject matter expert in your specific area of interest. You will also gain valuable hands-on experience in your field of study while contributing to our mission to bring learning to life for children across the U.S and around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement new features, as requested by team leadership/product owner
  • Triage and squash bugs based on priorities set by team leadership
  • Participate in and contribute to scrum/agile ceremonies
  • Validate, create, and edit documentation for existing and new code
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Must be a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate or graduate student preferably focused in computer science or a related field
  • Must be available minimally part-time (at least 25 hours per week) for 10 weeks in the summer
  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals
  • Great communicator and able to collaborate in a team environment

The estimated hourly compensation range for a new hire into this position is $20 USD to $22 USD per hour. Hourly compensation may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
