Our Mission
We launched _nology to address the shortage of technology skills. We want to demystify what working in tech actually means, so we can encourage a more diverse group of people to become tech literate. The fact that coding is creative, exciting and progressive is one of the best kept secrets in the industry. We want to blow the lid off and let everyone know why they should be part of the tech revolution!
What We Do
_nology runs intensive full time training programs, that enables people from any background to launch a new career in technology. This is specifically designed to make them job-ready with practical, up to date skills – not just theory – to meet the real-world needs.
We then deploy them on site with our clients on long term engagements, to make sure these new careers are successful- ongoing support is a critical component to making sure these new skills stick.
The Company
_nology is young, but we already have a global presence and a strong record of delivering exceptional outcomes.
Backed by one of the fastest growing tech consultancies in the world, we have offices in the UK, Sydney & the US. Matching this scale is our ambition to grow all over the world in the coming years. For now, we’re getting our name established in the UK & Austraila, and building our ability to deliver the future of software training.
The Role
The main focus is to become an amazing mentor to our students (or _nologists), shaping the direction of how we educate tech talent and building our dream of disrupting the industry for a better future. You would effectively act as a technical mentor, a social mentor and a business mentor holistically improving the people who come through every course, to help them achieve their career goals. You'll lead coding sessions, help them understand core development practices, and design new teaching methods and curriculums.
However- you wont just teach people just how to code, you'll teach them how to become well-rounded tech employees. This means encouraging team work, good time management, curiosity, and effective problem solving methods.
We're seeking coaches who above all else are excited by the industry, and want to inspire others.
