Responsibilities
- Understanding the information that our Media Analytics application contains and help developing a plan for designing, structuring and presenting that information in a meaningful and relevant way
- Help implement the user interface systems of our Media Analytics products and web-based applications
- Provide a satisfactory user experience with no issues, errors or downtime
- Active role in testing and troubleshooting, and resolving issues such as those related to accessibility and browser compatibility
- Monitoring applications to determine whether they perform as expected and make corrections and adjustments as necessary
- Developing prototypes for an application that can be shown to clients for their consideration and approval
- Ensure quality by adherence to coding guidelines, documentation and reproducibility
- Closely collaborate with Product Owners, Marketing Science Delivery Leads and Machine Learning Engineers to improve our offering
- Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science or a related field, and a background in software development
- 2-3+ years of work experience
- Good understanding of users needs, user experience (UX) and UI aesthetic (previous experience as a marketing scientist is a bonus)
- Solid skills with R and R Shiny, RsConnect, Highcharts library
- Solid skills with Javascript, HTML and CSS
- Solid skills with REST Web API
Added benefit but not mandatory: knowledge of Python, .NET, MVC and SQL
- Good understanding of the building blocks that are required for building a front-end application
- Project architecture, planning and task management

- Building for different environments, server configuration, bundling
- Maintain documentation & technical support information
- Good understanding of how to tailor the user experience to the execution environment of their application (browser, mobile, etc.)
- Be familiar with current trends in front-end technology such as front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular), tools and processes but should retain respect for underlying technologies and be competent in coding standard solutions without the help of libraries.

- A positive attitude to self-learning and/or learning from others and recognizing that supervision will likely be required for more technical tasks. Ability to thrive in a pair programming context
- Confidence to make a meaningful contribution to the development process, making decisions and working autonomously and driving projects where appropriate
- Good interpersonal skills – treat others with respect, be cooperative, friendly and considerate of others. Be a good role model, help to build teamwork and team spirit
- Be well-organised and flexible, and demonstrate self-confidence, decisiveness and commitment
- Good experience with agile development practices
- Ease of communication in an English-speaking business environment
