About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated software engineer passionate about Integration and API Development to drive innovation for the Connect product. As a Software Engineer specializing in Integration, you'll own the engineering for the Connect product and collaborate closely with our Product teams to implement individual connectors.
What You’ll Do:
- Work in an agile Engineering team that owns the Connect product from design and implementation through testing and production deployment and readiness.
- Develop and implement efficient and reusable API and Script interfaces using modern Scripting interfaces built on the Workato platform,
- Design and implement efficient and reuseable connectors using Ruby
- Shape the trajectory of our Connect products through informed insights and decisive actions, influencing and executing pivotal decisions and launches.
- Collaborate with Stakeholder and other product teams to ensure that requirements are translated into working software that meets the business and engineering requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of integration and s to ensure high performance and reliability of our Connect product.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design and experience developing in OO languages such as Java or C#.
- Knowledge and industry experience with developing in the Ruby programming language is ideal.
- Experience with Powershell, Spec flow, Postman or related scripting languages.
- Knowledge of API Integration patterns and management
- Familiar with CI/CD and Test Methodologies.
- Troubleshooting skils for Performance, tracing and debugging
- Knowledge in Cloud Technologies such as AWS or AZURE ideal
- Knowledge of Monitoring tooling such as Grafana a plus.
