Software Engineer - Platform Middleware, DevOps Development

About the Team

The middleware team plays a strong and crucial part in stabilising the core infrastructure of OKX. It allows for a stable overall architecture and environment that allows for the engineering community to code, push out to features in a safe and reliable environment. The team is a group of tightly knit individuals passionate about utilising tech to improve and better the coding environment within OKX, thereby benefiting our users and customers in the long run. 
 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain the OKOne platform, including features for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated management
  • Develop the OKOne background tool-chain, focusing on the creation and enhancement of automated tasks such as assembly line operations.
  • Product operation support for the OKOne platform, promoting and assisting the business team in utilizing the platform effectively.
  • Construction of the company's OKOne processes, including the formulation of specifications and auxilary tool construction.
 

What We Look For In You

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Computer Science related field, with at least 5 years of DevOps experience, preferably in an internet company.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining at least one DevOps product, with a deep understanding of continuous integration and deployment.
  • Proficient in Docker Engine, Kubernetes, and other mainstream container technologies.
  • Skilled in DevOps tools and technologies such as GitLab CI, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Ansible.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, and Rust, including their use in compilation and construction tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with project management abilities and experience in facilitating cross-team collaboration.
  • Demonstrates strong learning ability, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
