Software Engineer (.NET/ AWS) Co-Op - Hybrid (Req. #687)

Mindex’s Software Development division is the go-to software developer for enterprise organizations looking to engage teams of skilled technical resources to help them plan, navigate, and execute through the full software development lifecycle.

Mindex is looking for .NET co-op to join a team working on the modernization of a factoring application developed by one of our clients. This application allows vendors and customers to view/manage their accounts with our client.

We are looking for a candidate who is a skilled developer proficient in C#, .NET Core, and expertise in building RESTful Web Services within AWS.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, debug and maintain complex systems utilizing .NET Core.
  • Create and maintain RESTful Web Services.
  • Work closely with the Business Analyst to understand requirements and design software solutions to satisfy requirements.
  • Collaborate with a team of software engineers and testers, using a scrum based agile software development methodology.
  • Write technical documentation of system changes in conformance with department standards.
  • Maintain awareness of technological developments in computer hardware and software systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related area preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of extensive software development experience in Microsoft .NET and C#, including: experience building and consuming RESTful API’s for web services.
  • Experience with .NET Core, Web API
  • Experience with Postman, profilers, continuous integration, and Git
  • Familiarity with AWS Technologies such as Lambda, SQS and SNS
  • Familiarity with React JS
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

The compensation for this job is $22 per hour

Physical Conditions/Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs.
