Job Description and Responsibilities

We're looking for a seasoned IT specialist to join our team as an Associate DevOps Engineer in the Infrastructure Reliability Engineering Group. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in script development and patch deployment, as well as configuring and troubleshooting software applications, systems, and client software on Linux Servers. Apart from technical expertise, we value leadership qualities, self-motivation, excellent interpersonal communication, and documentation skills.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications
•Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
•Associate 2 or more years of work experience

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
•Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, patch management and their administration.
•Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, etc.
•Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, Bash, etc.
•Understanding of version control systems like Git, Bitbucket
•Familiarity with Scrum & Agile workflow methodologies
•Good understanding of CI CD pipelines.
•Experience managing ITSM and Jira ticket management.
•Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, or AWS.
•Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
•A desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually (self-starter).
•Ability to make decisions based upon information available, present recommendations and deal with moderate challenges.
•Client focused ethos with the ability to interact across all management levels.
•Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment, must be detail oriented and able to multitask to meet deadlines and company objectives.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 69,400.00 to 88,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
